Ladies Only Intro to Handgun and Personal Protection

Join us for a full day of class that covers the personal self defense and an introduction to handguns. At the end of the day, you will be wiser on how to better protect yourself with all the options available to you, from pepper spray to firearms. Take a look at the course descriptions below for more details. The tuition fee of $150 covers BOTH classes!

This class is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of how to safely handle, function and shoot a handgun. Perfect for new or novice shooters, this is a low-stress, fun-oriented course that installs comfort and confidence. Following a classroom lecture covering an assortment of topics, students participate in "dry" drills where they learn to safely handle and function their handgun before firing any shots. Students are then put through a series of live-fire drills where they practice all the topics covered in the classroom
This is designed as an "overview" type class. It covers general issues regarding self defense for women, use of force laws and details on a VARIETY of defense options from Pepperspray to Tasers to firearms. It is intended to give women a better understanding of what options for personal defense may be the best for them

Items you need to bring as a student:
Sac Lunch
Eye protection
Hot/Cold weather clothes
Handgun of reputable make if you want to use your own
NO Tank top or low cut shirt
NO sandles or open toed shoes

* Directions to the range: Once you exit Sierra from the 15N FWY, the range is 10 miles into the mountains on the right hand side when the pavment hits the dirt road.
** There is NO cell service once you enter the mountains and on the range
*** Minimum Student age is 12 years old ( Fathers may Escort their daughters to the course only)
**** If you have your weapons, Please feel free to bring it and use it for the course. Just make sure to bring weapon specific ammo for it.
